This 2009 Custom Shop 1964 Relic Stratocaster was actually manufactured in December of 2008 for the 2009 NAMM show. Featuring a stunning Sunburst finish with a moderate amount of Custom Shop "wear", this Strat's Ash body is top shelf. The maple neck features a C profile with a rosewood fretboard with vintage style clay dot inlays. The three way switch that came original on this guitar has been swapped out for a more modern 5 way switch. The Custom Shop single coil pickups sound terrific and offer an ample amount of sparkle and bell like chime. Other standout features on this beauty include the vintage tremolo bridge, chrome hardware, vintage style tuners and black G&G Fender Custom Shop hard shell case. With the exception of the switch replacement this guitar is all original. Serial # CZ509524
